dog-with-red-ball-300x209

For folks in the Malvern, Pennsylvania area: a free talk about canine cancer presented by Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue and Hope Veterinary Specialists.  (I just wrote up a story for The Grey Muzzle, a nonprofit helping homeless senior dogs, about sweet Fenway at the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue!) I wish they would run this as a webinar!

About the Event
Join Drs. Craig Clifford and Kate Vickery as they introduce you to medical terminology and treatments used in the medical management of pet dogs with cancer. The most common canine tumors, including treatment and prognosis, will also be reviewed. This information is vital to have an understanding when caring for a pet dog with cancer. Dog owners of breeds prone to cancer will also benefit from knowing ahead of time how to handle a diagnosis of cancer.  Learn about support networks available, such as Day by Day, an organization whose mission is help pet owners better manage their pet’s medical condition which leads to an improved quality of life during difficult times.

Registration closes on Friday, September 20, 2013.
