Good advice, cancer or no.
I was scrolling through my camera roll and saw some “throw away” shots of Haley, who passed in August. I was glad to see those pictures, capturing the little details of our walks together. I also thought about how fast those moments slip by unrecognized and unappreciated.
So now, I’m carving out as much time as I can to focus on those moments with my younger dog, Harper – allowing myself to be “interrupted” to notice the everyday.
I think it’s a solid plan.
