Would You Spend a Day Doing This for Your Cancer Dog?


UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, home to the Comparative Cancer Center for pets and the nation’s No. 1 school for animal science and No. 2 school in veterinary medicine, is hosting a daylong seminar, Cancer in Animals 101, next Sunday as part of their educational outreach for animal caregivers. Learn about the following cancer basics from the school’s clinician-scientists:

  • Radiation Oncology Basics
  • Medical Oncology and Chemotherapy
  • The Goals of Surgical Oncology
  • Cancer Clinical Trials
  • The Emotional Rollercoaster of Grief and Pet Loss

For those attending in person, a tour of the Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital is available.
